a selection of maori and contemporary style carvings and wearable sculptures. To create a really unique gift I carve tattoos out of bone or horn. Asian waterbuffalo as well as mammoth and other fossile bones on request. The feedback from my customers shows me that most form a very special bond with their carving, they wear it daily, it becomes a touchstone or talisman to them. Something in the bone seems to touch a very archaic rudiment in all of us, brings us in spiritual contact with those that have been before, that walked the earth at the dawn of time.
